Our 2012 mac pro 2tb photo drive suddenly failed. The photo directory was at least 1.5 TB and our complete family digital photo history for 20 years was in peril. The most recent complete backup would have meant we lost quite a few photos. Tried numerous mac drive tools to recover but it was dead. We emailed a few recovery places we found with a google search. ACE recovery was one of them and they got back quickly. They were able to recover files but didn't guarantee all the files were recovered. Thankfully all the files were there and we were able to have our priceless files back. We could have bought a new mac pro for the cost of this recovery but like they say your photos are priceless. Needless to say there is a current backup method now in place that backups to two separate usb drives alternating days. Hopefully this type of problem never happens again, but if it did I would certainly use ACE Recovery again.
